Nashville TN. – Audiences from around the world are about to get an inside look into the lives of women in ministry.
A new show, Women of Ruth with LaVerne and Steffanie, is in production now. It features women who use their skills and influence to create a ministry in their community! The significance of the show’s title – Women of Ruth – makes reference to the Bible’s book of Ruth, which is a celebration of female friendship. Show hosts, LaVerne Adekunle and Steffanie Rivers are friends and business partners of the company Women of Ruth Productions.
Adekunle is an award-winning author, community service leader and founder of the Campaign For Christ Sunday School Program. This Award-Winning nominee also won the 2011 the USA and International Book Award for “The World’s Luckiest Journal” co-written with her son Macaiah Tillman, PhD.
Rivers is a published author with more than twenty years’ experience as a journalist and public affairs professional. Her work as a documentary producer has taken her from Atlanta, Georgia to southeast Asia including her first international work about the release of former South African President Nelson Mandela after the release from his 25-year prison sentence and his subsequent trip to the United States. Rivers’ work drew the attention of a national television network that led her to become the star news reporter for the CBS affiliate in eastern North Carolina.
Together these friends and business partners will use their show to highlight present-day women of Ruth traveling the country to build female friendships and change the world around them.
The show will share the real-life stories of women who work behind the scenes to raise families, and support their husbands all while building influential ministries that uplift other women. This show is in production and will be pitched to national networks in the fall of 2017.
This series will empower others in search of a blueprint for their own lives while encouraging women to become leaders in their own families and communities.
Although the show is appropriate for all ages, women in search of positive Christian role models will use this program to enhance their spiritual growth.
This series is produced by Women of Ruth Entertainment, a female Christian entity.
